What is a business? It is a transaction between two or more people by means of exchanging information, services, products in lieu of currency.

Yes! i think you are on the right track. Ok! coming to the business point of view, we need some thing either it may be Pen, Pencil, etc., so we go to the bazaar, and get it by means of paying money. we have exchanged our money to get a pen (assume). so we made a transaction with the shopkeeper, he/she gets the pen as we transform the object in terms of product, service, cutomer support. So, we have a transaction between the customer and the service provider.

Well! still confusing as i say Why for business? well i define the business in a simple way, As we need some thing or the other to meet our basic needs, we need to have a transaction in the business, in other words it may be our life.
